That's right! We're (once again) pushing the boundaries and bringing in the amazing Wendy Lu McGill of Rocky Mountain Micro Ranch for a wine and insect tasting! More than just sustainable protein, insect cuisine is quite delicious too! Stop in for our four course tasting to learn how (and why!) you can add edible insects to your diet and amaze your friends with spot-on wine pairings!
Pairings consist of:
1st: Toasted waxworms on winter greens with pomegranate seeds. Wine - IMT Sparkling White
2nd: Queen Weaver ants toasted with garlic and tossed with Campanelle. Wine - IMT Blind Watchmaker Red
3rd: Locust Skewers with roasted root vegetables - IMT Canned Chardonnay
4th: Our friends at Dio Mio are taking over this course! They're serving cricket powder tarts with sales caramel ricotta topped with Chinese "lemon ants" - IMT Petite Verdot.
After the tasting, stay to enjoy seasoned cricket popcorn and take home a goodie bag with insect cuisine treats!
$35/person. Reservations are required! Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-736-8376 x4
